Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.
Your blog made me cry today! Kim, you are such a special lady. Right now, I'm swamped with the physical side of childcare. Glori and Timmy play tag team on who needs me the most. Most days, I don't wash my hair and I don't shower until Brandon walks in the door. I feel and look like a shhhhlob. I spend all day cleaning and by the time I've cleaned one area of my small apartment, Gloria has terrorized another area. Gloria has 4 cuts on her face: 2 on her lower lip because she has a terrible overbite and she fell and bit her lip, one under her lip from I don't know how and the other on her chin from where she fell on the corner of the bed. She runs everywhere she goes and falls flat on her face. Her hair used to always look gorgeous, now it's always a mess out of necessity. However, lately I've been trying to focus on tickling her and just putting Timmy on the floor and talking to him. He's asleep and Glo is in her high chair eating lunch. Else I wouldn't be able to read/write on your blog. But anyway, I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate this blog. It is a real source of inspiration to me and I hope you write in it when you have time always.
