I've been lacking in the crafting department for about 6 years.

My little girls are begging for time with mom, and crafts,
so this mom is going to sew today.
I don't sew so we'll see.

The internet is a great tool, but good grief.

Good luck with the sewing! I don't sew either. I'm right there with you on the www and how sometimes it inspires, but sometimes it makes you feel like you will never measure up.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. I am not crafty. I am not that great of a photographer. I am definitely not stylish. I'm not that great of a cook, either. But I'm a really good mom because I play with Gloria and take her places and it exhausts me. So I guess that's the best I can do. If I get a meal on the table, that's awesome. If the meal tastes good, then I'm pretty proud.
ReplyDeleteProbably the #1 reason I am not more crafty is because it costs money for supplies. Same thing on the fashion, and I don't know how to shop for clothes.
The thing I know how to do is teach high school English. All this new mommy stuff is a big learning curve, and there have been tons of tears involved--both tears of sadness and of joy.
