My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

A RIDDLE:

WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU GO ALMOST A WHOLE MONTH WITHOUT THE INTERNET, TV, & A LAND LINE?

6.18 hours on the phone with verizon (NO JOKE), playing board games (that have been packed away for 1 1/2 years) with four ecstatic little kids, an almost empty garage- everything's almost unpacked, and one room painted (the ceiling 3 times- don't buy Walmart ceiling paint, lots of talks with Jeff, and 765 posts to read in my google reader- not going to happen!!! I'm painting my kitchen next.

So I'm back.

We LOVE our new home and feel completely overwhelmed with gratitude that everything fell into place. I don't think I ever said anything but we were able to secure a 4.6 interest rate!! I'm still in shock at that.

I keep wanting my mom to come over and see my new place, show her the plans I have for decorating, and see her get excited about something we worked so hard for. She'd probably tell me I'm spoiled to have so much and I'd agree. I miss her so much.

Coming soon...

Pictures of my dining room table and chair redo!! I love them!

  5. I am so happy you are back!! I have been wondering how you were doing. Sherwin William's paint is worth every penny. I swear you spend less than you would if you bought the cheap stuff because you use so many less coats!! I totally want to see your house. And YAY for super low interest rates!!! Missed ya!

  6. Thanks for checking out my blog. It was good to here from you.

I won't be going to the YW's broadcast tonight because I already have a date night with my son planned and a ton of family stuff to get done throughout the day. Sorry, that would have been fun to go together. I'll see you on Sunday.

  8. So it has been way to long sense I have checked out your blog. Congrats on the sale of your house and the purchase of a new home. I would love to see pics. Where did you move to? I will be in Tri-cities for spring break. I'll try looking you up. Maybe we can meet at the park. I'll be there the 31th through the 2nd of April. Keep in touch!
