My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

Happy Birthday Babe!!

Jeff's birthday is today. I'm not going to post 32 things about him because more than anything he wants some time with me. I am going to say that he makes it sweet to be married. When I was a little girl and into my college years I dreamed of the man I'd marry. I think most girls do. I wanted my future husband to adorn dark, thick locks, play the guitar and piano, and be able to talk about psychological epiphanies.

He can play Come Come Ye Saints on the piano, and he will converse in deep conversation about more than sports and work, but he is not those things I conjured up in my little silly girl head. THANK GOODNESS.
He and I are alike in so many ways but different too. I'm thankful for the similarities and I'm trying to make our differences our strength. I love that he has a strong attention to detail and is very organized.
I love that he LOVES ME more than I thought was possible. Back in the days when my mind was young, I had no idea LOVE could be like this.

JEFF,
Today we'll play and you'll feel like our King.
Love you.

I loved all these pictures, Kim. Especially the ones of Jeff and your kids. Those are just sweet. He is a great dad, and you are all definitely blessed to have him!
