My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

Guest room/Craft room inspiration

I found these on flickr. I love the color she used on the walls and of coarse the black storage containers, the crisp clean feel. I could spend hours in a room like this. I've pretty much decided that what the color scheme will be in this room.

but to keep me busy until I actually move in, are these:
aren't they pretty?

I first saw them pictured here:
and here:

in my Pottery Barn magazines a couple of weeks ago. I longed for them to someday be seated in my new kitchen but knew that there was no way on this green earth that I would EVER pay $300 a piece for a chair or $3000 for a table. So, a couple weeks went by and I'm looking on craigslist for fun and lo and behold I see the same chairs, AND a table, AND 3 bar stools all for $325. The picture looked horrible but I could see the potential and I can so do $325 for all those pieces. I called the guy, met him, offered him $250, he said no but he could do $300 and I said, "DEAL"!! And now I'm just pacing my house waiting for the temp to reach above 50 degrees so I can paint them black and pretty for my new kitchen. I can even begin to tell you how much I LOVE finding deals!
Hip hip hurray for craigslist. If your wondering how to find deals like this check craigslist every minute for a day or two or three. (I really didn't do this but I could.)
