My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

There's only one problem

When I exercise like I am I have a hard time finding time to blog!! P90X is going GREAT! When I finished doing AB RIPPER X this morning I hollered, YEEEAAAAHHHH!! 16 minutes of ABS-Holy Smokes!! I've lost about 5 lbs so far and am on my way to breaking the 150's. Every time I've lost weight before I get to 150 but never down the 140s. I did get to 148 for awhile. But really it doesn't matter how much I weigh because muscle weighs more than fat and I'm already feeling strong and lean. I pulled my Levis size 8s out of the dryer put them on and they are falling off!!!! Gotta love that!!! Makes me want to jump and click my heals in the air!! I measured my body fat and I'm at 23%. I'd like to be in the high teens.

My eating is awesome and I promise to get some ideas down on my other blog. I've felt pretty full all day and I'm not craving nasty stuff. It helps that I don't keep any temptations in my cupboards and my fridge is stocked full of good stuff. My new favorite is soy nuts.

  6. You are SO right. Who cares how much you weigh, it is how you look and feel that matters. Inches tell way more than pounds.

Building muscle will serve you well, and for a lifetime. It strengthens bones and muscle has great memory, so even if you stop it really does stay with you.

Whatever you are doing it is working. You look FABULOUS!
