My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

Starting P90X this morning

My before pictures have been taken, I've done my measurements, and I ready to go. I'm doing it this time. I've had this program for a "few" months and now I'm finally going to BRING IT!
I'm thinking about starting a private blog to track my progress, post pics, and to help me stay accountable. If you would like access, let me know.

  3. Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay!!! That means you've got Chest and Back this morning and plyometrics tomorrow! Go easy the first week....please! Get used to the moves and work your way up to more reps and higher weights. You'll be glad you did!

Watch plyometrics especially tomorrow...most people throw up their first time doing it cause they go full out right off the top. PACE YOURSELF!

I'm SO, SO proud of you!! Please call or email when you need encouragement or food ideas. Aaron and I have modified the menu quite a bit to personalize it to our tastes. Some of of their menu items we thought were YUCKY! But you may like them.....

Oh, and I obviously want to be part of your private p90x blog!

    Love you!

  9. So how was your first week? I thought plyometrics was the hardest the first week. I thought I was in pretty good shape and my heart felt like it was going to pop out of my chest! Did you like yoga? I have a love/hate relationship with it. I just got P90Xplus, but I haven't started it yet because I have a triathlon I'm training for that is in December, so after that, I'll try it out. Good luck, and I'd love to watch your progress and cheer for you and answer any questions you have on your private blog! Good luck...BRING IT!

  10. Wow-girl! You are impressive taking this on at this time of year. I have been "thinking" about trying to hit it hard as my baby is going to be 2 in January and can no longer be my excuse!! I would love an invite to your other blog-maybe it would help me really get motivated. I actually looked into this program, but that is it. Did you like your first week? I would love to hear how it went.

  11. Hi Kimi,

You don't know me but I found your blog through my friend, Rochelle's. I actually grew up one street from your husband, Jeff. I was friend's with Kim, and we went all through school together, except HS. Anyways, I have found your blog very inspirational, especially the one about your mother. I recently lost my dear grandmother and have alot of the same feelings that you do... Anyways, I would love to follow your workout blog, if you don't mind... Take care, Amy Cooper Ayres
