Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

A lesson in patience

I was excited to get out with kids and enjoy the fall air, only problem was they got to ride bikes with 2 wheels while I tried my PATIENCE at unicylcing. You should have seen Linda and me going round and round the skating rink. I was sweating up a storm with just one go around and after two my legs and arms were getting soooo tired. I told James that I don't like doing things that I can't do well right away. He said, "you mean you don't have patience?" Ouch!!! ... that hurt. Guess not.

Our husbands want us to try it again next weekend. Oh, and there's 10 levels of skill. Jeff is almost a 2 and James is a 4. I think Linda and I are -1's.

Oh yeah and when we first got there, there were some chicks practicing roller derby racing. That were trying to recruit me!! Sorry girls I'm not good on skates either.

  1. I'm not a patient girl either, so I would not do well at this!
