My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

Divine (maybe not yesterday, hope so today)

{Turn pictures from new to old!
Thanks for the tip Jan!!!!}

My beautiful friend thought up a great post about motherhood and what it means in one word. The word that I thought of was:

divine

(dĭ-vīn')

    1. Having the nature of or being a deity.
    2. Of, relating to, emanating from, or being the expression of a deity: sought divine guidance through meditation.
    3. Being in the service or worship of a deity; sacred.
  1. Superhuman; godlike.
    1. Supremely good or beautiful; magnificent: a divine performance of the concerto.
    2. Extremely pleasant; delightful: had a divine time at the ball.
  2. Heavenly; perfect.
Do we include our Heavenly Father in this important work? Do we ask him to tell us what our children need from us? Do we strive to have the spirit with us all day long?
Many mothers in the world are living day to day on accident. (Just listen to DR. Laura) Admittedly, I do more than I should. I know what my purpose is, but I get lost in all the things on my to do list, and sometimes I'm just so selfish. Plain and simple. I wasn't a very good mom yesterday. Today, I'm praying that I will know how to show my children that I'm sorry. Sorry for the yelling, and putting them last. I'm so happy that there is forgiveness. I'd be in a load of trouble if there wasn't.

  1. Divine is a divine word for motherhood. Love it. And it was great to read the true meaning of it. Motherhood does requires constant need of the spirit and our Heavenly Fathers help. And as women that know, what a blessing it is. I am also grateful for forgiveness. There is nothing wrong in telling our children that we are wrong and ask them for forgiveness as well. Love this post so much Kim. It was warming.

And that picture is great. Don't you just love how easy that site is.. Wonderful. Have a great day.

  2. I was so glad that you chose divine as your word. It's funny as I was thinking about your word, I remembered that after the birth of each of my babies, I felt this incredible closeness to my Father in Heaven because these pure and new spirits had just been there. I felt divine in my role in bringing them to this earth.

But it's too true that I too forget sometimes just how divine and heaven sent my calling as a mother is. Yes, thank goodness for forgiveness.

You are absolutely wonderful my dear. Thank you for being such a great example to me.
