Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

Bikram yoga- LOOOOOOVED IT!!

What an experience!! I'm a BIG WHINNY WUSS when it comes to high temps, especially if its humid. The idea of being sticky, sweaty, and hot is not something that I like to put myself through. However, after 90 minutes in a hot, humid room while doing yoga poses I never thought I could do, I'm hooked. I did well my first time. That's what the lady in front of me told me afterwards. She couldn't believe it was my first time. I did all the poses below. When we were doing pose 22 I had to stop because I thought I was going to puke. The instructor said that this was normal. 22 is one of the poses where your body releases the most toxins. Out of curiosity I punched in bikam yoga to see how many calories I burned 1023!! It wasn't easy, not even close, but I felt awesome that I got all the way through it.

    I should really try this.

  5. I have heard that is one tough yoga. Only the fittest can handle that. Good for you Kimi.

  6. That is crazy! Over 1000 calories? Crazy! I am amazed that you can do that for 90 minutes, I am very skeptical that I could handle that...

  7. Good for you! I've never tried that type of yoga, but my friend in Boston loves it! I should have joined her when I had the chance. I'll have to look into it here.
