My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

  • Its that time again. Time to pick out clothes and find a location for another family picture. I don't know what to do for colors this time. Anybody have any ideas? Lee? I've always tried to get a picture of our family every year. It helps that Jeff's dad is quite handy with his camera. I must give him credit, he took all but one of these pictures. Thanks Jerry!
  • 10 years together- so much has changed, but so much is still the same. I'm blessed to build a life with my friend.
  • The next few months are going to be crazy busy. We're still trying to sell our house. We're probably going to build a new one. Anybody see any good lots for a daylight basement. We just signed up to be a Ma & Pa for our Stake's Trek. Hmmm... what else. I was lamenting to my friend about a wedding reception that Jeff and I went to last week. I was wishing we were the Bride and Groom... Just for a week or maybe even a month. Life was much more simple then. I mostly just want to sail away on a cruise. Soon. I should really just bask in my blessings and not wish for something else, but sometimes I just get so cranky about keeping up with all there is to do.

  5. How fun to have family pictures from all those years. The last time we took one was when we only had 2 kids! We finally did it last month. I'm so excited to have a "real" family picture up on the wall soon. It was fun to see your family grow in those pictures too!

  6. I wish we had more regular family pictures. We did good for awhile, but just got out of the habit. It doesn't help that my dear husband hates pictures! As far as what you want to do it probably depends on where/what feel of picture you want. If you want matchy pictures go with all the same color shirts, then jeans or khaki pants or something like that. I think no matter what you wear your picture will be awesome. How can it not with such a cute family?

  10. Because I am such a flake.. I swear you were on my reader.. but you weren't. And I was like dude you never blog.. but dude I never read it. Sorry. Hmm.. what to wear. Is say you wear what you feel HOT in, and then coordinate everyone around it. Not all the same colors, but colors that are pleasing together. Make sense? And I hope you got my email.
    Miss ya!

  11. I can't believe how big your kids are getting. Tanner was looking at your blog with me and he stopped me to ask how you got so many kids. He said "I thought they only had two boys." I had to laugh. I love your blog!
