My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

Pretty Girls in new dresses

One of the only reasons I like 1:00 church is that I have some time to dress up my girls (and still look decent myself) . On this particular Sunday I went to work with the curling iron and gave my girls some big hair. Their brothers didn't care for it much but I thought they looked pretty adorable. Jeff got some cute pictures before we left and made me hunger even more for a better camera. My baby loves wearing dresses and would be happy in one everyday. Miss W has been so curious about Jesus lately. She asks me how he can hear us pray, and wonders if He can see us. She has a little problem with keeping her pants up and quite often is showing off her "crack" to anyone who happens to notice. I've tried belts and different jeans but it is pretty tough to hide it all the time. She's got little love handles and a flat bum so her jeans always slide down after we pull em up. The boys remind her all of the time to pull up her pants. The other day we were walking out to the van and Ethan said, "Whitney!!!, pull up your pants, I can see your crack!!!" Whitney promptly responded, "Shhhhhhhhh! Jesus can hear you! I laughed so hard.
