Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

Do you want the good news or the bad news?

Brand new bathroom with the help of my sweet brothers and Jeff's amazing skills!

After only 11 days on the market we got an offer on our house!!!! I was so excited, that I was brought to tears. (I know you’re really surprised, because I don’t really cry very often.) Jeff warned me not to get too excited. We hadn’t heard what the offer was and the deal isn’t done until you are sitting across from the Buyer at closing. Yeah, yeah, yeah., but we got an offer. After all our hard work, an offer. YES!

So...the good news is- the offer was for the full asking price!!! Bad news was- it was contingent on the buyer selling her home before March 28th. Long story short. We turned the offer down and hope that all will work out. But, man, that full price offer was so tempting and very exciting.

  10. NOOOOOO!!! Not prego, but I feel pretty bush whacked at about 8:00 from working extra hard keeping the kids busy and constantly keeping up on the house in case I get another 1/2 an hour warning that someone would like to come see my sweet, nicely staged abode.

  14. Hey Kim! Your house looks great! I hope you get another offer soon. FYI - the house four houses down from us was just repoed (sp?) - it's a little bigger than ours and the yard's just a little smaller. :) And tell that brother of mine I have a bike I need help with (please?). I know he'll be soooo excited to help us. And I also need his help moving our phone line. :) Thanks!! Love ya! Jodi
