Right now there is spilled taco soup on the floor in the kitchen because I left during family dinner for a girl's night, and ummmmm, its 8:30 in the morning. I'm adorning my bathrobe and definitely not wearing a bra. I have yesterday's mascara smeared part way down my cheek from crying while reading my mom's blog, and I have a TON of things to do today.

Jeff's still asleep (he has Fridays off) We stayed up until 1:00 watching "Stardust". I really enjoyed this movie. I don't recommend it for the whole family though especially little ones. Anyway, I better get off before everything I did yesterday gets undone and before he wakes up and sees me like this!

The picture you painted of what you look like cracks me up! I look like that half the time I'm blogging too, complete with yesterday's mascara.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's 9:46, and I'm still sitting here in yesterday's make up, hair totally crazy, and still no supportive device around "the girls". Isn't life grand?
ReplyDeleteI will have to go and read your mom's post. I read your sister's updates yesterday, and I want you to know that your mom and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I just checked out your mom's blog. I will keep your family in my prayers during this trying time!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder that man loves you so! (For some reason I can't see the picture.) But, . . . I am imagining that every morning you get up really early so that your husband only sees you fully and beautifully dressed with perfect makeup? I know that can't be true. You are such a beautiful girl and I'm sure he'd love you even with mascara running down your face. You were crying over your mother and that's the sweetest thing ever, mascara or not. You'd still think he was the most amazing thing ever if his mascara was running when he was crying about his mom. . .okay, maybe not. At least not the mascara.
ReplyDeleteActually, I'm positive that he'd be trying to clean himself up before you saw him.
Have a great day, sounds like you are seriously in the real world. That's the best place, for now. The gospel really does make everything better, though - doesn't it? I can't imagine living in the real world without it.
Your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about you, especially since the last post on your mom's blog. Take good care of yourself, and remember how much you are all loved.
