Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

From Jeff Christmas 2006


I found this little note today. Jeff wrote it in the inside of a gift certificate envelope and I've always wanted to record it somewhere else. I thought I had lost is but found it tucked away in a drawer while I was cleaning. It says,
Kimi,
I am crazy about you. I can't believe I have you, and that we have such a great life together. I love the family that you have given me. You are more attractive now than ever before. Its wonderful to call you mine. You're a beautiful person. I long to be in your presence endlessly. I adore you.

He is on my mind today. I wish he worked closer so I could have lunch with him every once in awhile. He works an hour away and is gone from 5:00 am to 6:00 pm. I wish he was home.

I'm married to a romantic, tender, spiritual, man who loves me deeply.
I love him more than ever. We are celebrating our 9th anniversary this year. I can't believe its flown by so quickly. I'm sooooooooo excited that I have him forever.

    Honestly brought tears to my eyes. I am so happy for you and your accomplishments! I too love you Kimi Sue...not romantically of course! Ha! I am so happy you found that note; now protect/display it in a book so that you can read it over and over. So sweet!
