Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

I'm sooooooo excited!!! If you love Jane Eyre you'll love this news.

My wonderful friend Nicole, introduced me to the book a couple of years ago when she gave it to me for my birthday. I fell in love with this story and would actually love to read it over and over again. There's a movie that was done this year by Masterpiece Theater that's definitely a must see for me.
I haven't watched any of the previous movies because I was told they weren't worth my time.
Hopefully this one will be! I can't wait to pop some pop corn, put on my warm socks and watch it.

  1. This is definitely one of my all-time favorites. I have about four copies. You know, one for the bath, one for display, one for travel... I've never watched a Jane Eyre movie. Maybe I'll give this one a try. It's hard to imagine the story done well.

  2. When will it air, or be available?

  3. Its available now. Its pictured in the Deseret Book Christmas Catalog that I got yesterday. Its 26.99 so I think I'll try finding it on Amazon or Ebay. The commentary says," This lavish new Masterpiece Theatre version of Charlotte Bronte's classic novel captures beautifully the passion, mystery, and romance of the story."

  4. Oh, Kim! Thanks for posting this! Looks fabulous! I am actually re-reading Jane Eyre again (for who knows what time I am on) so I am really into it right now. Thanks!

  5. No matter how many books I have read over the years this has continued to be in my top favorites. One movie adaptation I did see was ridiculous and didn't even begin to capture the essence of the story. Very dissappointing.
I am hoping this will be different!
