My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

I need some good skin care...any ideas?

I'm 30 years old and I'm still having problems with acne. Right now I'm using Pro-Activ but I'm afraid its not giving me the optimum health for my skin. The other day I accidentally squirted some "restore lotion" on my shirt and it made a bleach mark. I'm thinking its probably not that great for my face if it destroyed my shirt. I also don't moisturize my face because I've being using this system. I do know that my skin does better if I stay away from Dairy products. Anyway, what works for you? What makes your skin feel healthy?

  1. Have you ever heard of Arbonne? I love their products! They have an anti-aging line that I have used the past couple years. (I am also 30).I know that they also have a line for people having problems with acne, etc. Go to their website (www.arbonne.com) and they will direct you to a consultant in your area. The products are all-natural and they don't have any animal bi-products. They are a little pricey, but they last a long time because they are concentrated. I bought a set that lasted me 6 months! Good luck!

  3. Ok I could have written this post about 6 months ago, then my SIL (Kim) got me hooked on Mary Kay. My MIL also sells it. I can't not even begin to tell you the difference in my skin! And I know it works because the last few weeks I have been totally busy and so tired at night that I have not been using it at night and I have totally had breakouts! So I have been faithfull again with it and can tell the difference right away!

  4. I agree with the mary kay chic! a while ago i wanted to test out mary kay to see if it really made a difference and i loved it. my face felt smooth and i seriously didn't have any blackheads (or very few) I remember looking closly in the mirror one day wanting to "pick" I really couldnt find much at all to pick at. Its the mary kay cleanser, moisterizer, and then the day and night cream. Its about 100 buck though and includes cover up. Expensive but liked it. I still love and use the cover up. Love, love that stuff.

  5. I like Clinique, and I also like the Borghese stuff they sell at Costco. Hands down over MK.

  6. apparently what I use isn't working for me either, cause I have more zits now than I did when I was a teeny bopper. I guess my routine is not that extravagent though, I use nuetragena face wash, and oil of olay moisturizer, that I do love. It isn't greasy at all.

  7. The ladies at Eden Crest Day Spa swear the Dermalogica is the best. It is spendy but those that use it have great skin. I used it and didn't have the right line for my skin. They just came out with a new acne line and I can't wait to try it.
