My photo
Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

Some of my Favorite Things

I bought this mirror at the Goodwill for $25 and painted it black. I tried to sell it at a Bazaar I did a couple of years ago but I priced it too high. On purpose of coarse. I wanted to keep it but I could also let go of it for $250.
I love love love pictures. Especially this one. Jeff, the boys and I went canoing and had a blast. We chased Beavers, and looked for carp. I also love picture frames. When I see one that I love I have to restrain myself from buying it.
Yard sales are the best place to find things that are in need of a little spray paint. I love the simple elegance of this shelf.
I saw these dried flowers used in several things when I went on my trip this summer and loved them. I found them at Tai Pan (an awesome craft store in Sandy, Ut). I was so excited. I got home and started looking for a way to display them and this is what I came up with.
I love storage containers! I could never have enough. Baskets, bins you name it I love it. I found these old food containers at the Goodwill, painted them black and nailed scrapbooking embellishments on them for labeling.

I saw these shelves in a Pottery Barn Magazine a couple of years ago and ripped the page out to add to my decoration binder. They cost over $200 but I found them at my favorite bargain store for $35.
I bought this in Sugar City, ID from the cutest shop that I've ever been to. I fell in love with it and wish I could go back today and get more stuff as well as ideas.
