Its been awhile.... for so many things. I'm the type of person that jumps into a project and it seems that everything that isn't directly connected gets neglected. My family and I are in the midst of preparing our home for sale. Laying tile, texturing sheet rock, pulling up old carpet, painting, planting flowers, fertilizing the lawn, scraping popcorn of the ceiling, peeling wallpaper................ all this while raising four kids under 7, making dinner, doing laundry, reading how to sale my home on my own, looking for land to build on, going crazy... you know the drill!!!! The last month seemed like 2 or3 months. We will be extremely excited when our work is done and we can stand back and admire our handy work. Hopefully it will all pay off. I love this house, its got such great character and I hope that what we've done to it will really make it shine.
As for me, I think I've aged 10 years over this last month!:) Its amazing what happens to your perspective when you don't take time to relax and play. After we sale our house I think we'll be moving into an apartment while we build. That's my light at the end of the tunnel. I want to spend time with my kids swimming, going to the park, visiting friends. I CAN'T WAIT!

- Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.
