- Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

I'm relearning how to eat, here's what I'm doing.
I don't know about you but I've always been a big eater. I eat very quickly and I've always ate until I'm full as opposed to nourished. I've basically felt as though I've lived to eat, instead of ate to live. So, I'm learning now how to eat smaller portions, and cut myself off when I feel as though I've taken in what my body needs to do the things in needs to do. (Hopefully metabolize the fat around my glutes) I've also started using a salad plate. Its about 6 or 7 inches as opposed to a 10 incher. That's helping a lot. I also eat more during the day so I don't feel famished when I sit down to eat a meal. I love almonds, and I've read that they help you feel satisfied faster if you eat them 20 minutes before a meal. I only drink water and lots of it. I've being doing this for the last several years. Whenever I go out I can say that I never get pop. Oh, and I don't eat after 7:00 pm. It's all helping too. I looked at my before pictures today and I can see a big difference. Don't worry....I will not post my before pics, they're for my eyes only. It was hard enough for my DH to take the pics as it was. Progress..... yea!!!!

YAY for healthy eating. I eat to live. Food is okay.. but has never been my thing lol. I want to see your before's, I love before and after! Good luck, you can do it!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Until you, eating until you feel like you're going to pop...I usually eat 'til I need to poop. there has to be a better way!
