This is my 3rd child. She was my 1st girl and was an easy tempered infant and 1 year old. Last year she was 2 and a handful. Much different from my two boys at two. There is a ton of emotions that comes in to play with little girls.I'm sure some of you know this already but I've figured it out the hard way. Anyway, the last two weeks have been WONDERFUL. Her new favorite thing to do is make me happy. I'll ask her to do something, and she'll say, "OK mom!" Then she'll actually do it and come back to me and report that its done. I'll respond with lots of excitement and tell her she did a great job, she'll smile from ear to ear and ask, "Are you happy mom?" and I'll say, Yeah!!!:) :) I looooooove it. She's getting it! There's been so many tears and frustration from both of us, she's the first one of my kids to throw tantrums and I've tried my best to not give in. Now I finally think its paying off. Yea!! I was starting to think that I was doing something wrong because she kept throwing them even though I wouldn't give her what she wanted. So to you moms out there, there is hope. We've also worked on her room to make it very simple for her to clean. Now she loves making her bed and cleaning up her toys. I've discovered that the fewer amount of toys, clothes and things a child has in their room the easier it is for them to keep it clean. Its actually a no-brainer if you really think about it. My goal is to simplify a lot of my home this year so I don't spend so many precious hours of my life managing stuff.

- Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.
Very cute! Great job for sticking with it...the rewards are so satisfying, aren't they???
