I'm so happy to see my little sister get married, especially to such a great guy. She told us she was getting married and gave us only about 3 weeks before the "date". It was crazy planning a wedding that fast but we pulled it off. I've been learning how to take pictures since I married Jeff because he's quite good with a camera. So, my sister was brave and asked me to take her engagement pictures. This is the one they used for their invitations. It was fun to take their pictures, but a little nerve racking too. Congratulations Melanie, I LOVE YOU.

- Every morning I wake up with a head full of things to do. I scramble around trying to put them in lists of importance all while trying to keep the peace within my little brood (trying to recall everything I've learned and read about parenting at the same time.) I love being a wife and the quirks that come with having my man forever. I love to be creative and thrive on crossing off my to do list. I strive to find balance and put first things first which brings me PEACE & JOY and allows me to sleep so much easier when I do. I think that one of the secrets to being HAPPY in life is to find that balance. I'm learning how to be kinder to myself and learning patience in progress. Everyday, through the thick and thin of life I'm trying to turn my heart towards heaven and remember what's really important.Oh, and I love to eat, so much so that I love to exercise too.

My little sister got married!

Cute pictures! I did a few different family Christmas pictures this year! Hopefully this summer I will have my new camera. Do you have photoshop?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I do but I mostly just use the editing software that is automatically installed when I develop my film at wherever. I get the hard copies of the pics and also have them scanned onto a CD. We have a Nikon SLR and still only use film for any non-everyday shots. I would love to have an SLR digital camera so I could do a lot more editing without all the fuss. I would also love a medium format camera.
